Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in America and is an actress who has performed professionally for 27 years. A gifted thespian, she has been active in the professional world for the last 27 years. She began her career in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. She was then cast for her first TV role, The Perfect Tribute. The year was 1992 and she got her first role as a character supporting in Basic Instinct. It was the beginning of her impressive career. The Firm was the film in which she was the lead female for the first and only moment. The film was in competition with Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and many others. In the 90s, she worked alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Hugh Grant. In the past, she played Dr. Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.
